At the request of the Port of Amsterdam (PoA), Cenex carried out a study into using surplus electricity for charging infrastructure. Their drive, knowledge and expertise led to sound advice that enabled us to make informed choices. What stood out most was the customer-focused approach, the level of detail, and the pleasant, constructive collaboration throughout the whole process with Cenex.

As part of the national roadmap for the transition to zero-emission ambulance vehicles, Cenex carried out an initial study for AZN into the charging infrastructure this would require. A simulation model was built for this purpose, using one year of data for 1,000 ambulances to determine what would be needed to carry out all deployments with electric ambulances. Cenex's knowledge and experience ensured a smooth approach and a thorough report full of new, sometimes surprising, insights. The collaboration was very enjoyable throughout the entire project, from the initial introduction through to delivery, both with the Cenex NL team and the researchers at Cenex UK.
