We welcome Luka de Koe as our newest team member
We are pleased to welcome Luka de Koe as the newest member to our Circular Mobility team as a Technical Specialist. He will be working on the EU funded SESA, eBRT2030 and MACBETH projects. As a MSc Metropolitan Analysis Design & Engineering alumnus, Luka brings a strong foundation in systems modelling and data-driven analysis for urban environments.

Luka de Koe
Luka’s academic journey began with a Bachelor’s in Future Planet Studies at the University of Amsterdam, where he developed a solid understanding of environmental sustainability and systems thinking. His interest in energy and water systems grew as he explored urban environments through spatial data projects.
During his MSc at TU Delft and Wageningen University & Research, Luka worked on interdisciplinary research and consultancy projects, assessing urban challenges with a technical approach while maintaining connection with broader socio-economic perspectives. This experience enables him to evaluate sustainable energy technologies using Living Lab methodologies for iterative on-site research. Additionally, Luka expanded his data science expertise by applying optimization modelling to projects for the municipality of Amsterdam and the Bajeskwartier redevelopment.
The transport and mobility sector’s deep connection to the energy transition allows Luka to further explore his passion for energy challenges. He is excited to incorporate circular economy principles into zero-emission mobility and energy infrastructure to enhance resource efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
Beyond his work at Cenex Nederland, Luka is also pursuing a career as a music professional. “I look forward to contributing to circular mobility and expanding my knowledge in systems modelling, feeding off the energy from my music career. The creativity and focus I gain from music help me approach technical challenges with fresh perspectives.”
