How to play
Together, your team drives two vehicles – a truck and a Light Electric Vehicle (LEV) – delivering as many packages as possible from the depot. Work together to find the most efficient route, but watch out: everyone also has their own individual goal to achieve.
Collect your income
At the start of your turn, collect the income described on your role card.
Pay your expenses
Spend on charging infrastructure or game cards as needed for your role.
Roll and move
Roll the dice together to decide direction; both vehicles move that many steps.
Manage your battery
Every step costs battery charge – the LEV holds 15, the truck 30. Run out, and it’s back to the nearest charging point.
Winning Logicity
The youngest player starts, then turns pass clockwise. Beyond delivering packages, the board itself sets the rules – charging, penalties and scoring all shape how you play.
Charge smart
A slow charger costs 1M for the post director to place; a fast charger costs 2M. You can always add charging infrastructure as you go.
Never run dry
If your battery hits zero, you head straight back to the nearest charging point – and everyone pays a 5M penalty.
Respect the ZE Zone
Driving the truck into the Zero Emission Zone costs the post director 15M, and that player misses their individual goal.
Score to win
Up to 10 points are on the table: points from individual role goals, plus 4 points for delivering every package as a team.
Choose your avatar
Every player picks a profile and an avatar to match – pick the one that feels like you before the depot opens.
The challenge is now!
In various cities all over the world Zero Emission zones are appearing. In the Netherlands the participating cities can be found on the website opwegnaarzes.nl. The mobility transition is a huge challenge for business, trade, industry and the government alike. We can only do this if we do it together!
Game Methodology
LogiCity is designed as a serious game inspired by the intersection of Zero Emission city logistics and interactive gameplay. The methodology is centred on simulating real-world decision-making processes and trade-offs in logistics and sustainability.

What you'll explore
Package delivery
Deliver as many packages as you can at the right address! However: who orders what and when is out of your hands…
Individual and common goals
Priority deliveries mean extra income for the CEO. But at what cost? Every player has individual and common goals in the game.
Challenges
ZE zones, impassable roads, traffic jams and net congestion: the challenges for ZE City Logistics are very real in this game.
Inside the Logicity box

Navigate the ZE Zone, dodge congestion hotspots, and route your team between depots and drop-offs.
Every euro counts
Charging infrastructure and game cards cost real in-game money. Spend wisely – priority deliveries pay well, but not everyone benefits equally.
