Met als doel hun vervoer koolstofvrij te maken, hebben veel steden in Europa emissievrije gedeelde mobiliteitsdiensten ingevoerd of zijn ze van plan deze te introduceren. Deze nieuwe diensten voor gedeelde mobiliteit fungeren vaak als verstoringen van de status quo en vereisen een systemische verandering in de interactie tussen stadsvervoerplanners, mobiliteitsexploitanten en burgers. De Europese stadsautoriteiten zoeken naar nieuwe en innovatieve manieren om deze gedeelde diensten te integreren met bestaande openbaarvervoerswijzen, betalings-, routeplannings- en boekingssystemen.
Het SuSMo-project (Sustainable Shared Mobility) werkt samen met stadspartners uit Stockholm, Bologna en Sofia en emissievrije mobiliteitsexperts om leermaterialen te ontwikkelen die de manier waarop we gedeelde mobiliteitssystemen in heel Europa implementeren, kunnen veranderen. Het leermateriaal bestaat uit richtlijnen en instrumenten voor een succesvolle implementatie, monitoring en evaluatie van gedeelde mobiliteit, evenals casestudy’s van de SuSMo-partnersteden die hun ervaringen en geleerde lessen vastleggen.
De SuSMo richtlijnen en tools
Het projectteam heeft vier thema’s gedefinieerd en bestudeerd die essentieel zijn voor het tot stand brengen van duurzame gedeelde mobiliteit. De onderzoeksresultaten worden gepresenteerd in de onderstaande rapporten die bedoeld zijn als leermateriaal voor stadsbesturen die gedeelde mobiliteit willen introduceren, monitoren en/of evalueren.

SuSMo Casestudy’s
Het projectteam werkte samen met de SUSMO-partnersteden Bologna, Sofia en Stockholm en legde hun ervaringen vast door verschillende gedeelde mobiliteitsmodi en -schema’s te introduceren. De lessen die voor deze casestudy’s zijn geleerd, zijn te vinden in de samengevatte rapporten.
Stockholm – Car Sharing in woningbouw
De invoering van speciale parkeervergunningen in Stockholm heeft geleid tot de invoering van regelingen voor deelauto’s. Deze studie biedt waardevolle aanbevelingen voor de invoering van deze regelingen, gericht op gedragsverandering, beleid, regelgeving, inkoop en betrokkenheid van de particuliere sector.

Sofia – Technologie en beleid Roadmaps Integratie in SUMP
Technologie- en beleidsroutekaarten informeren steden over de komende technologische ontwikkelingen en de waarschijnlijke beleids- en strategiebeslissingen die steden moeten nemen om de agenda voor gedeelde mobiliteit met een laag koolstofgehalte te versnellen. In deze studie worden deze roadmaps gebruikt om de sterke en zwakke punten in het SUMP (Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan) van Sofia in kaart te brengen.

De stad Bologna introduceerde in 2018 een deelfietsservice. Voor de aanbesteding van deze dienst maakten zij gebruik van een aanbestedingsprocedure die concurrentiegerichte dialoog wordt genoemd.
